313 Renovation is a narrative-driven indie RPG that challenges stereotypes and systemic decay. Players roam the streets of Detroit, Michigan as Anthony Davis, a third-generation African American Detroiter. Through a choice-based system, you will make decisions which shape Anthony's community and future. Anthony holds a stable job as a concrete pourer in the Downtown area - until a major workplace injury forces him to move to a blighted neighborhood. While working on renovating his new home, he witnesses firsthand the systemic blight and urban decay that continue to shape the daily realities of many residents in Detroit. From looking at abandoned homes to looking at the city landscape, Detroit represents growth and resilience throughout the story. The broken landscape and infrastructure tell stories that represent years of neglect. Anthony wants to help families and improve his neighborhood, but balancing health, work, and renovations on his own home lead to a breaking point. Will Anthony choose his career, or his community?
